Colorado Springs Airport (COS) announced it will offer travelers with non-visible disabilities an opportunity to travel more easily through the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program. The program is a simple tool for passengers to voluntarily share that they have a disability that might not be immediately apparent, and would need a little extra help, time and understanding while at the airport. Travelers with a non-visible disability can request a Sunflower lanyard at the Airport’s Information Desk.

The Colorado Springs Airport is taking things to the next level with a major remodel of the concourse. This means a better, more modern and more accessible experience when you fly in and out of Colorado’s small airport. This project comes at a time when the airport is growing. The public is invited to give feedback regarding the City’s proposed 2024 Annual Budget on Monday, October 23 from 5:30 - 7 p.m. in City Council Chambers at City Hall (107 N. Nevada Ave.) Proposed 2024 Budget Information can be found at ColoradoSprings.gov/budget.

The Colorado Springs Airport (COS) is excited to relaunch its popular holiday parking promotion, offering 50 percent off daily long-term parking from November 20 - 26 and December 20 - January 2. Travelers can redeem the savings on long-term parking over the course of two periods of time.

Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade has joined with other local government leaders nationwide in signing a letter in support of the Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act (AHCIA), a U.S. Congressional bill that would expand and strengthen the Housing Credit. This is a key tool that encourages private investment in the production and preservation of affordable rental housing.
