COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Several traffic improvements are underway in the Old/Near North End neighborhoods following a series of public meetings designed to address transportation and safety concerns expressed by residents.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Beginning 7 p.m. Tuesday, until 5 a.m. Wednesday, motorists can expect 10-15 minute delays at the intersection of Woodmen Road and Lexington Drive while crews dismantle the temporary traffic signals and activate the permanent new signals.

Public input is requested on a proposed trail system for North Cheyenne Cañon Park at an upcoming community workshop. The trail system will ultimately be part of an updated master and management plan for the park.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Beginning Monday, the right lane of southbound Academy Boulevard will be closed from south of York Road to the bridge over Cottonwood Creek.  The closure is necessary for utility relocations and will be in place for approximately five weeks.

COLORADO SPRINGS — Residents are invited to learn more about several projects planned for Memorial Park in 2018 during an upcoming open house.  Many of the improvements are made possible by a grant from Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) totaling nearly $1.4 million and a $926,000 grant from the Colorado Springs Health Foundation.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) has scheduled three public meetings. These meetings are designed to inform the public of the proposed service changes for spring 2018, effective April 29, and to obtain public input prior to a final decision.
