Colorado Springs Youth Soccer

Free Fall Soccer Registration

Each season, a limited number of youth soccer registrations are FREE for families across Colorado Springs through our Sports Office. These spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are no income or other eligibility requirements for players in the selected age groups to receive a free spot. The program is open to everyone. However, if your family does not need free registration, we invite you to select the paid option and/or donate to the Helping Hands Fund. The goal of this program is to remove the financial barrier to participation so all kids can benefit from playing youth sports.

In the Fall of 2024, the $82 fee to play soccer will be waived for 400 kids to register at parks citywide from Pre-K to 4th grade (Early registration begins May 13, 2024 and will close July 12, 2024.

Practice: Begins week of August 5th. Volunteer Coaches choose practice dates and times. Practice is held at your practice park location or within a 2-mile radius or your practice park. Teams are expected to have at least 5 practices before the start of games.

Games: Begin week of August 26th and end on or before October 11th Game times are between 5:30 and 6:30 pm. In most cases teams will have 2 games per week. Games are played at Memorial Park, Cottonwood Park, Gossage Youth Sports Complex, Martin E. Ragain Field, and John Venezia Park. Regional game sites are added for Pre-K - 2nd Grade. Game schedules posted online the week of August 12th.

 Fee: $82 per child includes 10 scheduled games and a game jersey.

You pick a practice site based on the available practice park choices. Each division will have a list of parks which correspond to an activity number.

Early Registration begins August 19 and closes September 27. Late registration opens October 2 and is in-person only at the Memorial Park Youth and Adult Sports Office, which is located at 1315 E. Pikes Peak Avenue. Please note: limited availability during the late registration period and registrations are accepted on a first come first serve basis. 

Fee: $90 per child includes 8 scheduled games and a game jersey.

Practice: Begins week of October 14. Volunteer coaches choose practice dates and times. Practice is held at your practice park location or within a 2-mile radius of your practice park. Teams are expected to have at least 4 practices before the start of games, additional practices once games start are at the discretion of the coach. 

Games are played Sundays starting November 10 and end on or before February 9. Games will be played at SoccerHaus, which is located at 4845 List Drive. Game times are between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. for 3rd – 6th grade and between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. for pre-k – 2nd grade. No scheduled games December 1, 22 and 29.
