Requesting an Interpreter

Upon notice, the Colorado Springs Municipal Court will provide interpreters for people appearing in court who speak a language other than English or do not speak or understand the English language or who use American Sign Language (ASL). If you need an interpreter for a specific court date, please fill out and submit the Interpreter Request Form. Be sure to enter the court date information on the form and specify the type of interpreter needed.

If you wish to receive confirmation that an interpreter will be present, please include a phone number where you may be reached. You may also email the Probation Department at court-interpreterrequest@coloradosprings.gov.

Spanish Interpreters

Available at 8:15 AM and 1:15 PM, Monday - Thursday

The Municipal Court provides Spanish interpreters Monday through Thursday at 8:15 AM and 1:15 PM. Should you or someone you know need Spanish interpretation for court business, please appear at the court during these times and our staff will be available to direct you.

Assistance for the Hard of Hearing

Each courtroom is equipped with assisted-listening devices to aid those who need them. If you choose to use a device, please notify the courtroom clerk and they will assist you.
