Colorado Springs, CO – The Colorado Springs Airport (COS) will be kicking off the summer travel season by offering 50 percent off long term parking during the month of June. From June 1 through June 30, travelers will pay only $3.50 per day, usually $7.00 per day, to park in the airport’s long term lot.
“We are thrilled to not only show appreciation to our customers, but welcome travelers back,” said Greg Phillips, Director of Aviation for COS. “It’s exciting to see air travel return and to welcome a new air carrier. We’re grateful for our five carriers and the outstanding air service they provide to the community.”
The discount will automatically be applied when travelers pay for parking and no coupon is required. If travelers are parked in the long term lot before June 1 or after June 30, the 50 percent off credit will only apply to the June dates the vehicle is parked.
“This promotion is a great way for our community to ease back in to travel without taking on additional parking costs, which can be a significant cost at other airports,” said Phillips. If you are a repeat or first-time traveler, this is a great time to choose COS and experience the difference of a small airport, that offers great fight options and low parking costs.
Travelers can not only expect to save funds during this promotion, but also enjoy the ease of COS’ shuttle service. For the convenience of travelers, shuttle service is available in the long term parking lot. The shuttle runs frequently from designated pickup and drop off points and is based on flight schedules.
COS’ number one priority remains the safety of travelers and employees. Masks are required throughout the airport and with each of the five carriers. COS has recently been accredited as a Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR Facility. GBAC STAR is a performance-based accreditation program that demonstrates that airport facilities have put in place the work practices, procedures and protocols to prepare, respond, and recover from outbreaks and pandemics.
